Card Watch raises awareness about all types of plastic card fraud in the UK, and provides information to help prevent fraudulent use of all types of plastic cards. It does this by:

• Providing fraud prevention training for retail staff through retailer training programmes and publications, including the Spot & Stop Card Fraud training materials.
• Encouraging staff vigilance and awareness to aid in the prevention of card crime.
• Providing fraud prevention advice for cardholders.
• Providing education and support to police and crime reduction officers.
• Giving advice and assistance to other fraud prevention organisations such as Crimestoppers.
• Running an annual Card Security Initiative to increase awareness amongst the public and other relevant stakeholders.
