Consumer Credit Directive

The Directive was given first reading by the European Parliament in April 2004 and is currently being revised by the European Commission A consolidated text was provided in October 2005. In conjunction with other trade associations on the Cross-Industry Credit Group APACS continues to keep MEPs and other officials briefed, and we work closely with the DTI's Consumer and Competition Policy Directorate.
